A site-services directory checked at the source

How we check a listing

1. We find the business through its own website. Call centers that resell your request to other companies are left out.
2. We copy the phone number, address and services from that website and keep a note of the page we used.
3. We only list a county when the business is based there or names it, or towns in it, as part of its service area.
4. We record the month we last checked. Every provider page shows it.
5. Owners can claim their listing for free and send updates. We review every change before it appears, and anyone can report a correction.
6. Listing images are the business's own logo, shown only to identify it, or a photo the business sent us. We don't copy photos from business websites. A business can ask us to change or remove its image at any time.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your contact details or send your request to several contractors at once.
• We don't publish reviews yet. We would rather show none than show ones we can't stand behind.
• We don't check licenses or insurance unless a listing says so. Confirm those directly with the provider before you hire.
• Advertised Listings are paid and always labeled "Advertised Listing". They appear first only when results are filtered to one service in one county, and they never change the facts on a listing.
